The National Classified Test Facility, best known to the public as Area 51 its official designation from to , has been entwined in a tangled web of conspiracy lore promoted by those who believe the government is hiding captured extraterrestrial spacecraft, or even alien beings, at the site.
Unfortunately, news of the satirical event — dubbed "Storm Area 51" — went viral and more than 1. Government spokespersons warned potential interlopers that, "Any attempt to illegally access military installations or military training areas is dangerous," and asserted, "The U.
Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets. What makes this particular military installation special? Why would people want to endanger their lives by trespassing into such a place?
Perhaps it's because Area 51 has been a source of mystery and fascination since , when it was built as a test site for the Central Intelligence Agency's U-2 spy plane.

In fact, they certainly would have to call in for support. These contracted security specialists are ill-equipped to handle more than a few dozen people Also, considering the nature of organization required to gather and arrange a flash mob event like this one would likely mean that someone is going to be charged with the worst offenses the DHS can muster.
Yes, the last bit was totally gratuitous. But so very awesome. Hopefully the Air Force has some plans in place to deal with the situation in a reasonably non-lethal way if there are idiots who decide to do this.
Because to borrow from RAH, using lethal force would only be momentary pleasure and is bound to get them talked about.
